Feel at Home
Projected to serve more than 300 patients and their families every year, the Presbyterian Robert Wertheim Hospice House offers patients and families comfort, grace, and dignity, in a homelike setting. Every patient’s care is managed by a Hospice physician and staffed by registered nurses and certified nursing assistants.
With 10 patient rooms that are spacious and have a private patio for patients and families to gather inside or outside to enjoy the beautiful New Mexico sky. Additional gathering spaces like a family room and large kitchen are available for use to make a favorite family meal.

PHASE 1
Capital Campaign
To make this project a reality, 391 donors came together to donate more than $3.6 million for the construction of the Presbyterian Robert Wertheim Hospice House.
PHASE 2
Grand Opening
Breaking ground in March 2021, the Presbyterian Robert Wertheim Hospice House accepted its first patient in September 2022, a milestone in the making.
PHASE 3
Ongoing Support
Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation is committed to continuing fundraising efforts, through Daffodil Days and other initiatives, to support $500,000 of the facility’s operating costs.
